Once your toddler is full potty trained and using underwear full-time, when you are out and about they'll be able to use the public toilets. However sometimes there aren't always public toilets available (on a hike, at the beach, car journey etc) or simply aren't clean enough. For these occasions I recommend using a Whizzer. This is a product I have personally used for many years with the children I nanny. Plus unlike a portable potty that is bulky and cumbersome, it can easily fit inside a bag and can be used with children up to the age of 7.

Hygge Sheets

When you remove nappies for nap time or their overnight sleep, it's important to properly protect the mattress in case of any accidents.
It's often useful to double sheet the bed - mattress, then waterproof sheet, fitted sheet, another waterproof sheet and fitted sheet on top. That way if they have an accident in the night you can remove the top layers quickly and get back to bed sooner!
